Ingredients

  • For the milkshake:

  • 8 scoops of full cream vanilla ice cream
  • 250ml milk
  • Vanilla extract or seeds
  • Butterscotch sauce
  • For the butterscotch sauce:

  • 125g Kerrygold Pure Irish Unsalted Butter
  • 125ml brown sugar
  • 125ml fresh cream
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

For the milkshake:
  1. Mix the cream with the milk
  2. Add desired amount of vanilla
  3. Add butterscotch sauce (as much as the sweet tooth desires)
  4. Blend and enjoy
For the butterscotch sauce:
  1. Stir the butter and sugar over a low heat until the sugar is melted into the butter.
  2. Bring it to a slow boil and add cream.
  3. Add maple syrup.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce is a smooth pouring consistency.
  5. Allow to cool to room temperature.
